Engines are stripped, chemically cleaned, blocks are bored, honed, and checked, crankshafts are ground to size, rods are resized, and cylinder heads are reconditioned. Additionally, quality pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, water pumps, and timing kits are used during the assembling of the engine.
